Invisalign is the virtually invisible way to straighten your teeth without braces, using a series of clear, removable aligners without metal wires or brackets. You wear each set of clear aligners for one week, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move - little by little, week by week - until they have straightened to the final position that Dr. Johnson has prescribed. Typical treatment lasts 10-26 weeks.

How does Invisalign work?

Dr. Johnson, Dr. Zokol, and Dr. Marroquin will utilize 3D computer imaging technology to demonstrate the complete treatment plan from the initial position to the final desired position. This imaging technology is then used to design and individualize a series of custom made aligners.

What do the aligners look like?

Invisalign is a virtually invisible solution. You won't draw undue attention to your mouth while in treatment. Comfortable to wear, the aligners are removable so you can eat, drink, brush, and floss as usual.

How long is treatment?

A typical Invisalign case takes about 6 months from start to finish. You will see your doctor every month to see how you're progressing. You will be given additional aligners to continue your treatment during your appointments. Commonly the number of aligners worn during treatment is between 18 and 30, but treatment time and the number of aligners will vary from case to case.

Is Invisalign for me?

Invisalign can be used to treat the vast majority of common problems for adults and teens. Whether your smile needs minor improvements or more extensive adjustments, Invisalign can certainly help. It's successful in treating over crowded or widely spaced teeth. It can also relieve more complex issues, including overbites, underbites and even crossbites.

Invisalign is clear and practically invisible, so nothing gets in the way of your new smile.
